Membership Meeting
October 14, 2024
Commander Gary Gladue conducted opening ceremonies and declared the Post 146 monthly meeting regularly convened at 17:33
Roll call was taken, quorum was met.
The Charter was draped in memory of Charles E. Behrend and James Jasenosky.
The September Minutes were distributed and approved as printed.
Commander Gladue gave the Executive Report. Rick Baldwin moved "to accept the minutes of the Executive Committee Meeting." The motion was adopted.
Commander Gladue answered questions about the printed Finance Report.
Kurt Lepinski gave the Membership Report. 235 of a goal of 376, 62.5% of goal.
Tillie Ryan gave the Bar Report and presented a check for $13,581.48

Commander Gladue gave the House Committee report: The dishwasher leak has been repaired – replaced the drain pump. Need to add a pressure regulator to the dishwasher to reduce pressure to 30 psi. The drain valve for the booster heater supplying the kitchen dishwasher was leaking and has been replaced. The women’s bathroom floor needs to be replaced, the materials have been donated. The Snack Shack electrical has been approved, work pending. Flat top grill is being repaired. Coke removed their rack.
Commander Gladue gave the Activities Report: SAL Halloween party Oct 19, Downtown Business trick-or-treat Oct 24, Veterans Day Breakfast Nov 11, NWTC Nov 14, Holiday Opener Parade Nov 16, Santa at the post tentatively Dec 7. Looking for color guard volunteers for Oct 19.
Legion Riders: no report
Julie Ericson gave the Auxiliary report: They are working with M&M backpack, Christmas Ball Raffle starts Nov 21 on Thursday and Friday ending Dec 20.
New Business: Discussed cleaning the carpet in the bar area and the front. Will get quotes. James Kolky won the drawing and donated it to the post.
