Membership Meeting
July 14, 2025
Commander Gary Gladue conducted opening ceremonies and declared the Post 146 monthly meeting regularly convened at 17:30
Roll call was taken, quorum was met.

Executive Committee to meet after Membership Meeting
Finance Report: No report
Kurt Lepinski gave the Membership Report: 387 of a goal of 376 for 102.93% as of June 30, 2025. This is what our district dues will be based on and those dues are to be paid by January 2026.
Tom Cutaiar gave the Bar Report: The bar did well this past quarter and is giving a check for $4187.00 to Post 146.
Wally Durow gave the Athletics report: Menominee baseball is winding down
Rick Baldwin gave the Legion Riders Report: Next meeting is the 31st
Commander Gladue gave the House Committee: sump pump was replaced
Wally Durow moved “to support the commander’s decision to replace the sump pump.” The motion was adopted.

Julie Erickson gave the Auxiliary Report: The Auxiliary finished the year about 100%. Continuing with Taco Tuesday
Deborah Knernschield reported she is working on a presentation about the Medicare Advantage Plan that people have been asking about.
Tom Englund is the new Activities Chairman. There was about $5000 in sales for the 4th. The Pig Roast served 120 veterans. The sportsman’s club donated the hot dogs to be given to kids at the family night. Upcoming events: Brown Trout Derby and Suicide Prevention. M&M car show is upcoming. Jan Lepinski spoke about the American Legion booth at the State Fair August 11-16
Unfinished Business: Tom Chernetski installed the newly elected post officers.
New Business: Tom Chernetski is the new Americanism Chairman. Kurt Lepinski presented two proposed changes to the Post By-Laws. Other changes were discussed and it was decided to have Kurt Lepinski make a comprehensive packet of proposed changes by the November Meeting to be voted on at the December Meeting and then submitted to the Department Judge Advocate for review and hopefully approval before 2026 elections.
