Membership Meeting
October 13, 2025

Commander Gary Gladue conducted opening ceremonies and declared the Post 146 monthly meeting regularly convened at 17:32

Roll call was taken, quorum was met.

The Charter was draped in memory of Joseph Lapointe and Darrell Eland.

Commander Gladue gave the Executive Committee Report. Quorum was not met, so no motions. Discussed post credit card and waitress station.

Kurt Lepinski gave the Membership report: 242 paid members of a goal of 394 for 61.42%

Mike Cutaiar gave the Bar Report: There will be music October 18, Jamboree Dec 6.

Tom Englund gave the Activities Report: Looking at having food for the Jamboree. Smear Tournaments will start in January on Saturday.

Steve Van Eyck gave the SAL report. SAL-o-ween Oct 25 at 4 pm. Involved with shop with a cop, which starts 1 Nov. Will be helping with Wreaths across America. Army/Navy game Dec 13th

Julie Erickson gave the Auxiliary report: Hometown Heros Banners will be on 10th Street and 10th Avenue and will cost $80. Peshtigo has them already. Getting ready for wreaths across America. Christmas Ball Raffle will start the week before Thanksgiving on Thursday and Friday.

Commander Gladue gave the Finance Report. Mike Cutaiar moved “to accept the finance report.” The motion was adopted.

Unfinished Business: Commander Gladue discussed the Health & Safety report. There will be cleaning Nov 1 at 8 a.m. Fire Suppression system inspection coming up. Nov 15 Holiday opener-need at least one more legion member to carry flags. Will also be handing out hot chocolate. October 23rd will be handing out Halloween candy.

New Business: Joe discussed books to be given to the Legion documenting local heroes from WWII forward. Books to be kept at the Post to be read here.

Department Assistant Membership Director Jan Lepinski presented a 100% membership plaque for 2024-2025 to Post 146.

James Kolky won the drawing and donated it to the Post.
