Membership Meeting
January 12, 2026

Commander Gary Gladue conducted opening ceremonies and declared the Post 146 monthly meeting regularly convened at 17:42.

Rool all was taken, quorum was met.

The December Minutes were approved as printed.

Commander Gladue presented the Executive Committee Report: Jim Berry was elected as Finance Officer to fill the vacancy. Discussed the Concession agreement and will present it to Bill Paris. Voted to apply for a special liquor license for February 14, 2026.

Commander Gladue presented the Finance Report. It was noted the $200 donation to Crime-Stoppers was not on the report. Check to be written. Mike Cutaiar moved “to accept the report subject to audit.” The motion was adopted.

Kurt Lepinski gave the Membership report: 332 paid members of a goal of 394. 84.26% of goal.

Tom Englund gave the Activities report: Music this Saturday. Smear Tournament to start at end of month on Saturdays. Planning on Wednesday soup night and a chili cook-off. One person per team for the smear tournament must be a legion member.

Mike Cutaiar gave the Bar Report. This is a slow time of year. Checking $6504 and savings is $7515.

Gary Scholtz gave the House Committee report. The Christmas tree on the deck needs to be taken in.

Rick Baldwin gave the Legion Riders report.

Julie Erickson gave the Auxiliary report. 258 paid members of a goal of 277.  93%   We had to delay the Wreaths Across America event at Riverside Cemetery, it was well attended. The Christmas Ball Raffle went well. Dick Pier, Gary Scholtz, and Wally Durow were the elves at the Christmas party.

Steve Van Eyck gave the SAL report. 193 paid members, participated in Wreaths Across America, sponsored the Army/Navy game, gave $200 check to Ravenwood Garden.

Unfinished Business: Discussed the amendments to the By-Laws which were read in November and December and posted on the bulletin board and the website. Jim Berry moved “to accept the amendments.” The motion was adopted with no votes opposed.

New Business: None
